About Us

Bridges Housing Association Limited is an organisation providing service work on behalf of Forgewood Housing Co-operative Limited and Garrion People’s Housing Co-operative Limited.

The origin of Bridges stretches back to 1995 when the relationship commenced between Garrion People’s Housing and Forgewood Housing Co-operatives. A relationship, which was initially one of Director Services from Garrion to Forgewood, has blossomed into a joint staffing agreement.

Over the following years, the Co-operatives provided a significant amount of services to other organisations.  In 2003, Bridges Housing Association was  set up as a non-registered housing association with two shareholders, Forgewood and Garrion People’s Housing Co-ops.

We have a Committee of eight volunteers who oversee the work of the organisation and a staff team of two.

Bridges is a Friendly Society, registered with the Financial Services Authority Registration No. 2592 RS
