John Mulholland, Director


 

Since his initial employment with Glasgow City Housing and Clydebank Housing Association in Housing Management, John has worked in every aspect of housing.  More recently his involvement has been concentrated on investment, development and organisational and performance management.  Since 1990, John has been Director for two and then three organisations.

 

John’s key achievements include:

  • Responsibility for development contracts covering over 300 improved flats and 150 new build flats and houses.
  • Obtaining approximately £20 million of funding, private and public.
  • Responding to nine registration audits and over twenty-five annual financial audits.
  • Facilitating the formation of three new bodies from stock transfers
  • Acting as lead officer a transfer of engagements for another organisation

Cathy Brien, Depute Director  

 

Cathy has worked in housing for almost 20 years and since then has worked in local authority housing, Scottish Homes and housing associations. She has a broad experience of working with tenants has worked directly for three voluntary management committees for the last four years



 Cathy’s key achievements include:

  • Introducing a high standard of policies and procedures for three organisations
  • Lead officer in a wider action project to transform community facilities in Forgewood
  • Assisting groups prepare for registration with Communities Scotland
  • Delivering training to both Stirling and Inverclyde shadow boards in their stock transfer deliberations
